Using milk for domestic heating
Heat, generated during the process of cooling milk, is normally released to the outside air. The Milk2Heat installation allows you to recover the heat and convert it into a usable source for heating water and even your home. Your business can become all but energy-neutral since we can provide a tailor-made solution for every situation.
How does it work?
The 37°C milk straight from the cow flows to the milk cooling tank. The temperature of the milk during transport to the milk cooling tank will be kept as high as possible. In the cooling process from 37°C down to 3°C, the Milk2Heat unit extracts any residual heat from the milk during transport to the buffer reservoir for the heating system. At the same time, the Milk2Heat unit takes care of maintenance cooling by keeping the temperature of the milk in the cooling tank at 3°C.
